Birmingham Chaa Biskut is looking for a driven and experienced General Manager

to lead our front and back-of-house teams and oversee daily operations.

We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong understanding of hospitality management, and can bring energy, structure, and leadership to our growing brand.

Job Summary

As General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing team performance, maintaining high service standards, and overseeing business performance, including stock control and financial targets.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service. Create and manage weekly staff rotas based on business needs. Monitor and manage profit & loss (P&L), driving performance to meet revenue and cost targets. Oversee stock management, including ordering, wastage control, and supplier relationships. Ensure compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations. Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to maintain quality and consistency across all areas. Handle customer feedback and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner. Report on performance metrics and work with ownership on strategy and growth.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior management role within hospitality. Strong understanding of operational controls, P&L statements, and budgeting. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with staff scheduling and stock control systems. Passion for delivering high-quality customer service.
