We are seeking an experienced, results-driven individual to lead our team as General Manager. You will be responsible for all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, financial performance, guest service, sales driving, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and delegation skills, impeccable attention to detail, a solutions-based mindset, and a track record for driving excellence in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:



Lead and inspire a diverse team of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management staff, to deliver exceptional service and achieve performance goals Ensure that every guest receives outstanding service and a memorable dining experience Foster a culture of hospitality and exceeding guest expectations amongst the staff in all departments Drive revenue growth, profitability, and cost management through effective budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to optimise performance Take charge of recruitment, hiring, training, and development in talented individuals to build a high-performing team, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to enhance staff skills and performance Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food and beverage quality, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock rotation to minimise waste, control costs, and ensure availability of ingredients and supplies Develop and implement marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and special events alongside the marketing executive to drive guest traffic, increase brand awareness, and enhance the restaurant's reputation and profitability Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and execute strategic plans, goals, and initiatives to drive long-term growth and sustainability Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including food safety, alcohol service, labour laws, and licensing requirements, and proactively manage risks to protect the restaurant's reputation Leverage technology solutions and restaurant management software to streamline operations, enhance guests experiences, and drive efficiency and innovation Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence, encouraging feedback, learning, and development at all levels of the business Overseeing and co-ordinating a large team, displaying effective conflict resolution Welcoming and attending to guests with an exceptional level of care and service Ensuring all guests leave with a positive and memorable experience Brief the team before services to inform them of the day's targets and KPIs Inspiring, motivating, and leading staff to deliver the highest levels of service Carrying out open and close procedures, ensuring the set-up and safety of the business Managing payments and float in accordance with company standards Preparing and analysing weekly reports for the directors to review Plan and deliver regular team meetings to inform, train, and motivate all staff members across all departments Work closely with the kitchen management team to achieve targets, push service, and assist team members Take ownership of the success and failures of your team, leading by example and demonstrating integrity, transparency, and a commitment to continuous improvement Set clear expectations, goals, and objectives to your team whilst delegating tasks and responsibilities based on skills and capabilities, holding them accountable for delivering results
