General Manager

Bar, Eatery, Music & Event Venue

This popular independent venue is looking for a hands-on General Manager to help develop the unique potential of this venue further.

Job Summary

This role combines hands on operational management with a strategic approach. Leading by example you will direct your teams to deliver exceptional service. You will possess strong management and administrative skills. You will be passionate about developing the brand, increasing revenue and creating an experience that customers will love. You will understand the importance of skillful marketing and deliver a well- promoted event calender.

Key Responsibilities

Create and execute the overall strategy that expands the business and increases profitability

Implement processes to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction

Line manage teams so they are incentivised to succeed.

Develop the event calendar to drive footfall and sales

Build on the venue's reputation as a reliable 'go to' place for eating out, events and socialising

Manage media platforms and customer feedback

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food quality standards and licensing requirements

Skill Set

Proven track record in a leadership role in hospitality, catering or events

Strong commercial acumen with experience in business development and marketing

Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and revenue analysis

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work at pace without compromising on standards

A keen eye for attention to detail, high standards and be quality driven

Proficiency in hospitality and marketing tools/software

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
