Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant or hotel operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning
Supervise staff including chefs, servers, baristas, and other team members to foster a positive working environment
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and consistency
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies
Manage food production processes, including inventory control and ordering supplies as needed
Develop and implement operational policies to optimise efficiency and customer satisfaction
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management
Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery in both restaurant and bar settings
Promote teamwork, leadership development, and continuous training among staff members
Experience
Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or restaurant industry
Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams in fast-paced environments
Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
Previous hotel or hospitality management experience is highly desirable
Familiarity with serving in high-volume settings such as restaurants or bars (including barista experience) is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple departments simultaneously
