Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on food preparation and service. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring high standards of culinary excellence while delivering an outstanding guest experience for both dining in and takeaway service.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food production, service, and hospitality. Manage kitchen staff and front-of-house teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Implement and uphold food safety standards in compliance with health regulations. Develop menus that reflect current trends while maintaining cost efficiency. Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, customer service, and operational procedures. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries. Handle guest feedback professionally to enhance customer satisfaction. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Maintain a clean and organised work environment in both kitchen and dining areas. Ensure deliveries are delivered within the deadlines by managing routes

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and food production processes. Supervising experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of operations. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, guests, and suppliers. A passion for delivering exceptional service within a fast-paced environment.
