38,000 - 40,000 + Performance-Based Bonus

Isabel's Bar & Restaurant is a vibrant, premium dining and drinking destination at the heart of Burton-on-Trent. Following the recent and highly successful launch of our second site in Zakynthos, we're continuing to build on that momentum--now expanding our hours to include breakfast and lunch midweek to better serve our incredible community.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate

General Manager

to lead our flagship location in Burton-on-Trent. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, premium environment and is motivated by creating memorable guest experiences. You'll be instrumental in shaping our evolving daytime offering, upholding the brand's high standards, and driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire the front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver consistent, exceptional service. Manage all aspects of day-to-day operations including opening/closing, scheduling, KPI management and stock control. Champion and maintain the premium Isabel's experience from breakfast through to late night service. Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. Act as an ambassador for the Isabel's brand in the Burton community and beyond. Lead training, and development of staff, building a positive and high-performance culture. Ensure compliance with all health & safety, licensing, and food hygiene regulations.

What We're Looking For:

Proven track record as a General Manager or senior leader in a high-end, fast paced hospitality environment. A natural leader with a guest-first mindset and passion for premium food, drink, and service. Experience managing mixed service styles from casual breakfast/lunch to vibrant evening service. Excellent communicator with strong organisational and financial acumen. Able to thrive in a flexible rota including early mornings and late evenings. An understanding of how to build community loyalty and drive repeat custom.
