General Manager - Exciting New Venue Opening in Burton upon Trent

We're on the hunt for an experienced and driven

General Manager

to lead the opening and ongoing success of an exciting new venue in Burton upon Trent. This isn't just any bar - we'll be serving up

great cocktails, delicious food, and a full entertainment experience

featuring

virtual darts, mini golf, axe throwing, beer pong, and more.

As General Manager, you'll be the driving force behind creating a vibrant, memorable guest experience while ensuring the business runs efficiently and profitably.

What you'll do:

Lead, motivate, and inspire a large, diverse team to deliver world-class service. Oversee daily operations across bar, kitchen, and entertainment. Ensure consistent excellence in cocktails, food quality, and customer service. Manage and optimise labour schedules to balance service standards and costs. Take ownership of the P&L, hitting financial targets through smart decision-making. Implement and maintain robust systems and processes to ensure smooth operations. Drive attention to detail across all aspects of the venue, from presentation to performance. Support recruitment, training, and development of staff. Foster a fun, safe, and inclusive working environment.

What we're looking for:

A proven General Manager (or senior management) background within hospitality, leisure, or experiential venues. Strong financial and operational acumen, with confidence in managing a P&L. Exceptional people management skills with experience leading large teams. A passion for delivering unforgettable guest experiences. Organised, detail-oriented, and confident with systems and processes. A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
