We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence. As the General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving. Lead and manage a team of staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Develop and implement training programmes for staff to enhance culinary skills and customer service. Monitor inventory levels and manage food production to minimise waste while ensuring quality. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction. Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus that reflect current trends in the hospitality industry. Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff, providing feedback and guidance for professional development.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant or hospitality sector. Strong culinary experience with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Previous experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential. Experience in barista duties or hotel management is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
