General Manager - Temple Bar Cardiff

Temple Bar Cardiff is already open and thriving, and we're now on the lookout for a passionate and experienced

General Manager

to take the reins of this exciting venue. With a traditional Irish feel, a welcoming atmosphere, fantastic drinks, and live entertainment 7 nights a week, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead one of Cardiff's most vibrant spots.

What We're Looking For:

A hands-on leader with a real love for hospitality who can deliver unforgettable customer experiences and create electric atmospheres night after night.

You should have a proven track record in hospitality management, ideally in the late-night or live entertainment sector. If you're fun, energetic, driven by sales, and know how to motivate and inspire a team, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering consistent, high-energy service and atmosphere Managing all aspects of the venue's daily operations Sales and marketing strategy, including social media engagement Business planning and budget control Ensuring full compliance with licensing, health & safety, and legal requirements Stock control and cost management Recruitment, training, and team development Working closely with head office to grow the brand and business

What You'll Need:

Previous General Management experience in a high-volume venue Personal licence (required - you'll be the DPS) Strong understanding of H&S, licensing, and HR processes A commercial mindset with the ability to drive sales and profitability Ability to lead from the front and set the tone for customer service Creative, self-motivated, and confident working independently

Hours:

Full-time role (minimum 45 hours per week) including evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
