Job Overview


We are looking for an experienced and motivated General Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our busy pub and restaurant. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is confident leading both front and back of house teams.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily operations ensuring smooth service at all times Coordinate and run busy shifts front of house Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed correctly Cash handling responsibilities, including cashing up and taking care of daily finances Create and manage staff rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels Manage, lead, and motivate staff, including training and performance management Deal confidently and professionally with customer issues and complaints Maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and compliance Act as the main point of contact for operational issues during shifts Manage bookings for our restaurant and B&B rooms Menu and Social Media planning

About You



Previous experience in a management role within hospitality Strong leadership and communication skills Able to stay calm and organised during busy services Flexible, reliable, and hands-on Passionate about hospitality and delivering great customer experiences
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
