Duties
Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to maintain quality standards
Manage staff schedules, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards
Develop and implement operational policies to optimise efficiency and customer satisfaction
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures
Foster a welcoming environment for guests, ensuring excellent service delivery in serving, hospitality, and barista services where applicable
Coordinate with suppliers for inventory management and procurement of kitchen supplies
Lead marketing initiatives to promote the establishment's offerings and enhance brand reputation
Handle guest complaints or issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or restaurant industry
Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production
Experience in managing hospitality services is desirable
Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles such as barista or front-of-house management is advantageous
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with a professional approach to customer service
