General Manager - Destination Japanese Restaurant (New Opening, London)

We're delighted to be supporting the launch of a new destination Japanese restaurant in London and are now seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead this exciting opening and set the standard for its future success.
This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a brand-new concept in the capital - blending authentic Japanese culinary traditions with contemporary flair. We're looking for a true leader with the vision, drive, and entrepreneurial spirit to make this restaurant one of London's most talked-about destinations.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full opening and ongoing operations of the restaurant.
• Work closely with ownership to shape and deliver the long-term vision.
• Drive the commercial success of the venue while delivering an outstanding guest experience.
• Act as an ambassador for the brand, ensuring consistency and excellence at every level.
• Support with future growth and additional openings across the brand.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a General Manager (or similar senior leadership role) in high-profile, high-volume restaurants.
• A track record of successfully opening and operating destination venues.
• Deep understanding of hospitality standards and exceptional guest service.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to drive profitability without compromising quality.
• An inspiring people leader with the ability to build, mentor and motivate a high-performing team.
