General Manager at Ridgeway Adventures

Ridgeway Adventures is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to oversee our operations and drive our business forward. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in growing a young and thriving enterprise in an adventurous environment.

About Us:

Ridgeway Adventures is a dynamic, family-run activity centre and events business in South Oxfordshire offering a unique mix of indoor and outdoor experiences. From axe throwing, archery, and airsoft shooting to our laser maze heist challenge, we cater for birthday parties, corporate team-building events, stag and hen dos, and more. We also manage a seasonal campsite, a dog park, and a popular pumpkin picking event--bringing adventure and fun to every corner of our farm-based business.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals. Drive sales and growth through effective marketing and business development. Manage and mentor staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Monitor financial performance and ensure profitability. Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the leisure, tourism or hospitality industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management. Knowledge of effective marketing and business development strategies Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Passion for adventure and outdoor activities.

What We Offer:
