About Us:

Coro the Chocolate Cafe is a family-run dessert cafe, proudly under new ownership since 2023. With a passion for big portions and exceptional service, we are on an exciting journey to rebrand, refurbish, and expand - starting with our Edinburgh location with plans to grow across Scotland and the UK.

We're looking for an experienced manager who has the ambition to grow with us and ultimately help setting up the structure to replicate across multiple stores.

The Role:

As General Manager, you'll take the lead in running our cafe, with a strong focus on team management and guest satisfaction, whilst laying the groundwork for future locations. This is an opportunity to make your mark and treat the business as if it were your own - with full support from the owners.

Responsbilities

Leading daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality service. Hiring, training, and developing a motivated and reliable team. Creating a strong team culture that reflects pride, accountability, and fun. Working closely with owners on rebranding and refurbishment plans. Tracking store performance, including sales and cost control. Maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction and handling customer feedback with care. Taking ownership of the cafe as if it were your own.

About You:

Previous experience managing in a hospitality or food service setting. A proven leader who knows how to motivate and manage teams. Ambitious, with a desire to grow with the company and take on future multi-site responsibilities. Trustworthy and hands-on, willing to get stuck in when needed. Strong sense of ownership, with high standards and attention to detail. Comfortable working collaboratively with owners, with open communication. Passionate about creating amazing customer experiences.

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
