When Civerinos started out, Mr C wanted to create the kind of place where you could hang out with family and friends. A cool, independent, family-owned neighbourhood pizza bar based on his time in NYC, with a heavy nod to his Italian roots.

The journey so far has been incredible. Staying true to Nonna's own recipes and throwing in some NYC attitude (the kind Nonna would have backhanded you for), Civerinos has been serving New York-style Italian street food to Edinburgh for the last 10 years. We've become part of the fabric of the Capital.

The Position: Restaurant Manager

You are going to set the bar and the tone for our business. We need you to be the leader hospitality needs and the one your team deserves. This isn't just about "managing"--it's about taking total ownership.

Your Key Responsibilities:



Customer Obsession:

A genuine drive to provide our guests with the best service possible, every single shift.

Total Accountability:

Complete ownership of the day-to-day running of the business.

Admin Excellence:

Managing all "Monday Admin" deadlines and ensuring site payroll is accurate and on time.

People & Culture:

Managing site-related HR issues, maintaining a positive, inclusive team culture, and escalating to Ops when required.

Talent Development:

Responsible for the full journey of new and existing team members; spotting talent and developing it to get the best out of your people.

Financial Control:

Ensuring all cost controls and labour spend are managed strictly in line with the budget.

Brand Ambition:

Taking an active role in generating on-site social media content and seeking out opportunities to enhance the customer experience.

Business Growth:

Constantly looking for ways to grow your business, including hosting and managing events.
