About Elevation Workout

Elevation Workout is a premium class-based training studio in London W1, featuring a 12-station HIIT gym with six additional boxing stations, a 12-bike spin studio, and two therapy rooms.

Designed as a standalone, self-sustaining business, Elevation Workout grows organically through quality, reputation, and community rather than heavy investment. We're building more than a fitness space -- Elevation Workout is a community built on movement, connection, and outstanding customer service.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead Elevation Workout through its December soft launch and full-scale opening in January 2026.

Reporting directly to the Company Director, you'll oversee all on-site operations, manage the Assistant Manager and instructor team, and ensure the business runs efficiently, profitably, and with the highest standards of client care.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on initiative, structure, and responsibility. You'll have autonomy to shape daily systems, build a strong team culture, and delegate operational duties effectively -- ensuring a seamless 15-hour service model from first class to final lock-up.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all day-to-day studio operations

Directly oversee the Assistant Manager and instructor team

Lead soft launch (December 2025) and hard launch (January 2026)

Maintain premium standards in service delivery, cleanliness, and client experience

Recruit, train, and manage instructors within defined budgets

Scale classes to the full scheduled operation (10 per room daily)

Coordinate and capture in-studio social media assets (class footage, highlights, testimonials, events) for the content team

Foster a strong community culture through engagement and partnerships

Plan and host community activities - fitness challenges, charity fundraisers, and social events

Develop corporate partnerships - positioning the studio for team-building sessions, private wellness events, and company fitness experiences during off-peak times

Delegate and supervise instructor-led opening and closing procedures, ensuring smooth daily transitions

Requirements

3 + years in the health & fitness industry

2 + years in a managerial or leadership role (preferably boutique studio experience)

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Personal Training or Therapy (or similar)

Entrepreneurial mindset with commercial awareness

Strong people management and communication skills

Highly organised, decisive, and comfortable working autonomously within a clear framework
