Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our well established family friendly pizza restaurant, Luben, ensuring the highest standards of service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the business, from staff supervision to financial performance, whilst fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

Lead and supervise daily running of the restaurant, overseeing both front of house and kitchen teams Manage and mentor staff, providing guidance in areas such as waiting, bar service, food safety and standards Develop and implement your ideas to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty, whilst growing our business and reputation Oversee inventory management, run stock takes, place orders, receive invoices, create rotas Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure quality food preparation and presentation. Handle guest complaints and feedback effectively to maintain a positive reputation Prepare reports on operational performance and present findings to senior management

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proficiency in supervising staff and managing day-to-day operations effectively Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen practices is advantageous A passion for hospitality with a commitment to delivering outstanding service Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
