RYDS Group Ltd is a fast-growing used car dealership catering for all types of vehicles - from the Fiat 500 to the Rolls Royce Cullinan. Our business includes a flagship showroom, two supporting sites for mechanical and bodywork, and a dedicated team of sales, logistics, accounts and workshop professionals.

We pride ourselves on offering excellent customer service and a smooth buying experience, backed by in-house support facilities.

We are now seeking an experienced General Manager to take full responsibility for running the day-to-day operations of the business.

The Role

As General Manager, you will:

Oversee the entire dealership, including showroom, sales team, logistics, accounts, mechanical and bodywork sites. Lead, motivate and manage a team of 12+ staff. Take full responsibility for sales performance, profitability, compliance and customer satisfaction. Manage stock acquisition, pricing, turnover and aged stock control. Oversee aftersales functions (workshop, bodyshop), ensuring quality and efficiency. Provide the Owner/Directors with clear daily sales updates, weekly performance reports and monthly P&L reviews. Drive business growth through marketing initiatives, partnerships and process improvements. Ensure compliance with FCA, H&S and all relevant regulations.
About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has proven experience running a car dealership (franchised or independent). Strong leadership and people management skills. Commercially astute, with a track record of hitting sales and profit targets. Hands-on, with a willingness to get involved at every level when required. Comfortable reporting to ownership and taking full responsibility for results. Knowledge of used car finance, stocking plans and aftersales operations is essential.
