This role involves supervising staff, ensuring heath and safety standards are met, and maintaining high-quality management systems across all departments. Duties
Lead office operations by obtaining information to compile monthly Director reports, maintain quality management system and hold weekly progress meetings with the team.
Supervise and motivate team members to ensure high standards of quality and operational efficiency.
Manage health and safety by: a) Working with the team to produce site specific risk assessments, method statements and ITP's. b) Update all compliance documents annually. c) Work with our external health and safety consultants for annual compliance of our heath and safety management system. d) Complete pre-qualification questionnaires. e) Maintain annual flash reports.
Use our quality management system to maintain and re-obtain ISO 9001 accreditation.
Manage our sales and marketing by arranging our website development and working on our social media development.
Implement marketing strategies to promote the business and increase turnover.
Work with our external HR Consultant to resolve all HR issues.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety legislation.
Experience
Experience within a construction industry setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience using Excel, word and publisher.
Previous leadership roles demonstrating effective team management and organisational skills
IOSH/NEBOSH advantageous but not essential.
