Role Purpose
As a General Manager at NHFM, you uphold our commitment to exceptional produce, technical craft and warm neighbourhood service. You work with precision, expert handling and deep respect for the ingredients and customers we serve.
Key Responsibilities
Provide warm, knowledgeable guidance to customers.
Prepare, handle and present produce with professional accuracy.
Maintain strict hygiene, safety and compliance.
Support stock rotation, ordering, setup and merchandising.
Collaborate with the team to maintain smooth operations.
Technical & Functional Skills
Strong customer service and operational awareness.
Decision-Making Authority
Make operational decisions appropriate to your role; escalate complex issues when required.
Key Working Relationships
Work with butchers, fishmongers, supervisors, site managers and suppliers.
Experience Required
4+ years food retail operations experience.
Experience with ordering, shrink control and staff leadership.
Strong compliance, safety and operational knowledge.
Skills & Competencies
Warm, approachable communication.
High attention to detail.
Strong hygiene and organisational discipline.
