We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our establishment, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in the hospitality industry, including experience in food preparation, bartending, and restaurant management. This role requires a hands-on approach to team management and the ability to foster a positive work environment while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of the establishment, including daily operations, staff management, and customer service.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Supervise and support team members in their roles, providing guidance in bartending, culinary tasks, and food preparation.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock for food and beverage services.
Conduct regular training sessions for staff to improve service quality and operational knowledge.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism to ensure a positive experience.
Prepare reports on operational performance, staff productivity, and financial metrics for senior management review.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality sector, preferably in hotels or restaurants.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in food preparation techniques and knowledge of culinary practices.
Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing operations effectively.

This position offers a a starting salary of 36,000pa plus tronc, with estimated earnings expected to reach 44,000pa.
