The Gig

We need a General Manager who's equal parts

leader, host, and fixer-of-everything

. Someone who can keep the team inspired, the guests delighted, and the business booming -- all while making it look effortless (and maybe cracking the occasional joke).

You'll be the sort of person who:

Can walk into a room and instantly make people feel welcome Has 1+ year as a GM in a premium pub Knows your P&L from your IPA Can lead a team without losing your cool (or your sense of humour) Loves hospitality -- like, really loves it Is happy to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays (because that's when the magic happens)

What you'll actually do:

Lead the team from the front -- part coach, part motivator, part bad-joke teller Keep guests smiling and coming back for more Manage the serious stuff -- P&L, stock, labour costs -- without killing the vibe Be the face of The Wheelwright's Arms in the local community Make sure the pub is safe, compliant, and always looking its best
