Overview

Nam Ploy is Bolton's biggest Thai restaurant located in the middle of Middlebrook Retail Park, Horwich. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and hospitality industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and team management skills. This role requires a drive to provide outstanding service to our guests, maintaining the highest standards of quality, cleanliness and compliance.

Duties

Lead and manage all aspects of the operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting professional development. Oversee food production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintaining hygiene standards. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximise profitability. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Monitor financial performance, preparing reports on operational metrics to inform strategic decisions.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within the pub/restaurant is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, with excellent interpersonal skills. A solid understanding of operational management principles within the hospitality sector. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
