Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly in food preparation and service, and will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food safety, managing staff, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food production and service. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Supervise and lead a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment. Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to enhance team management. Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure quality food preparation and presentation. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain high levels of hospitality. Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and dining areas to ensure adherence to health standards.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality sector. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Background in supervising staff and managing teams effectively. Familiarity with barista duties is advantageous but not essential. Demonstrated ability to lead by example and inspire team members. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is required. Previous experience in hotel settings is considered a plus.
