Duties
Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant or hotel operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen management
Oversee staff recruitment, training, and development to ensure a motivated and efficient team
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with legal regulations
Manage daily financial transactions, inventory control, and procurement processes
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively
Coordinate with culinary teams to develop menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences
Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
Monitor operational costs and optimise efficiency to maximise profitability
Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth
Experience
Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry, ideally in restaurant or hotel management
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food production processes
Strong team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
Experience in food safety protocols and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving, barista duties, and hospitality services
Previous roles involving leadership within culinary environments such as kitchens or hotel restaurants are highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety legislation and best practices in culinary operations
