We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service and maintains high standards of food quality and safety. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing operations, staff supervision, and customer satisfaction.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of restaurant and bar operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction.
Conduct regular training sessions for staff on culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
Skills
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the culinary or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
Experience in bartending is an asset but not required.
A passion for helping others succeed in their roles while delivering outstanding service to customers.
