Pivovar Ltd is recruiting a General Manager for one of our centre craft beer bars in Leeds, we are looking for an applicant with the proven ability to build strong relationships with the local community and with experience of leading a dedicated and successful team, whilst also driving sales and profitability. The interests of the patrons and team should be your sole focus, creating an unforgettable environment for your customers to enjoy and your employees to thrive in. You will be expected to lead your team by example and help deliver high levels of customer service to promote the newly established enterprise and therefore facilitate repeat custom.

General Manager - Tapped Leeds



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of hospitality practices. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise all aspects of operations, including kitchen management and front-of-house activities. Oversee food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation are maintained. Is passionate about quality in beer, wine, spirits and the customer's experience. Possesses a keen knowledge of their product, customer and market. Has proven themselves as a Manager and has experience of managing a business in the hospitality sector. Has experience and knowledge of financials, P&L and stock control. Has proven experience of driving sales and the profitability of a business. Has the ability to lead a diverse team of people. Can create incentives and coordinate training sessions to increase product knowledge and customer spend. Develop subordinate managers to deliver excellent customer service and standards within their departments. Oversee that rotas are completed in advance to site par level and in line with department wage budgets. Can effectively market and promote the venue, which will include organising in-house events and ensuring the delivery of engaging social media on a daily basis. Has a full understanding on the daily running of a cellar. Can develop strong relationships with suppliers. An understanding of Excel and a centralised stock system.

Qualifications:



Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Experience in supervising staff, demonstrating effective leadership abilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
