Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

General Manager

to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, culinary arts, and team management within restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments. This leadership role requires exceptional organisational skills, a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and production standards. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service, supervising staff, and ensuring the smooth running of all operational aspects to uphold our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant or hotel operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive working environment while promoting teamwork and professional development. Coordinate with culinary staff to develop menus that meet customer expectations and optimise operational efficiency. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and maintain compliance with relevant legislation. Oversee serving staff to guarantee excellent customer experiences from arrival to departure. Manage budgets, labour costs, and resource allocation to maximise profitability. Develop strategies for business growth, including marketing initiatives and customer engagement activities. Handle guest or client complaints professionally and promptly to uphold the organisation's reputation.

Experience



Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant, hotel or hospitality setting. Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Previous roles involving serving or hospitality services are highly desirable. Knowledge of barista services or bar management is advantageous but not essential. Experience in managing bar or hotel operations with a focus on customer satisfaction is preferred. Pay: 31,000.00-34,000.00 per year
