We are delighted and very excited to be recruiting for a bubbly, energetic and well organised General Manager for Hawkhill Tavern located in Guiseley. As part of Concept Taverns, this is one of 10 wonderful venues located across Yorkshire.
Hawkhill Tavern is well known in the local community for fantastic offerings of competitive socialising with 4 american pool tables, shuffleboard, numerous TVs for sport viewings, high demand for private hire, a beautiful front summer terrace, delicious food & drink offerings and excellent warm 5service.
About The Role
Being a lover of great beers, delicious cocktails, delivering fantastic 5service and a flare & desire for putting on events is a must! You must be able to motivate, drive, build & lead the team to ensure the smooth running of the business. You must have the aim & focus of ensuring our guests revisit us and recommend us to their family and friends.
As General Manager, your duties will include but not limited to,
Creating & delivering quarterly business plans & objectives.
Identifying budgets and working within the P&L's.
Explaining the service cycle, our products, our great offers and events.
Using situational selling - making recommendations that are appropriate to the guest.
Ensure all staff serving and presenting all specialised food and drink products perfectly with focus on product quality, temperature and brand standard.
Complete induction training reviews and end of training sign off and development plan. Coach and develop team members and complete team member appraisals.
Provide direction, feedback and coaching to team members on shift to improve performance and delivery of excellent guest service.
Valuing our guests by engaging them in appropriate conversation.
Valuing regular guests by remembering their names, their likes and dislikes, favourite products etc.
Placing orders and receipting deliveries.
Dealing with guest queries and resolving complaints quickly and professionally.
Weekly stock takes with investigating variances and inputting results and inputting invoices correctly. Creating and implementing par levels for the bar.
Cellar management including stock rotation, recording draught and cask line cleans and conditioning the beer.
Creating staff rota's within budgets set.
