Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant or hotel operations, including food preparation, serving, and hospitality services
Oversee staff recruitment, training, and development to ensure a motivated and efficient team
Manage daily schedules, optimise workflow, and ensure smooth coordination between departments
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and food production in accordance with regulatory requirements
Monitor financial performance, control costs, and optimise resource utilisation
Ensure excellent customer experiences by maintaining quality service standards and resolving any issues promptly
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery
Coordinate with suppliers for procurement of ingredients, equipment, and supplies
Uphold brand standards and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
Experience
Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry, ideally in restaurant or hotel management
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary arts
Strong team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
Experience in food safety protocols and food production processes
Knowledge of restaurant operations including serving practices and hospitality standards
Previous experience working in a kitchen environment or as a barista is advantageous
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent organisational skills
Familiarity with managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing operational improvements
