JOB TITLE: General Manager

REPORTS TO: Area Manager

LIAISES WITH: Supervisors, staff members, Titanic staff

SALARY: 29,000- 34,000 depending on experience

are on the lookout for an experienced General Manager to join our team

PURPOSE OF THE JOB



To ensure the cafe lounge is ready for business and operating to its full potential on a daily basis. Manage and drive the team to maximise sales and deliver exceptional customer service. To ensure that the business continues to achieve company objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



Profitability - Maximise sales and deliver high levels of guest satisfaction. Quality - Ensure correct preparations are made for customer needs whilst adhering to Titanic Brand standards. Staff - Control staff presentation, daily performance, absence & holidays. Stock - Maintain secure and cost-effective levels of stock for the bar and cafe. Health and Safety - Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements and the provision of a safe working environment.

Personal License - You must hold a valid Personal License.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Take responsibility for the day to day control of the cafe bar and ensure that high standards of customer service are achieved at all times. Ensure agreed standards for food and drink are delivered on every occasion. Support the supervisors & staff to maximise sales, being fully aware of all the cafe bar facilities and special promotions. In accordance with company guidelines, deal with any complaints/issues raised in a courteous and efficient manner. Ensure all staff arrive on duty at the correct time and in the correct uniforms, recording any lateness/absence Lead and develop staff to maintain and improve high standards of service Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and the provision of a safe working environment. Ensure the bar is stocked efficiently taking note of Titanic branded products Report maintenance faults promptly. Compose rotas and timesheets in line with business forecasts and wage budgets. Oversee cash handling, and ensure that the daily cash reports are completed. Continually take on board customer feedback, and act upon accordingly. To recruit, train and develop an effective team ensuring the full utilisation of systems to required standards. Carry out any other duties outside the normal routine within the overall scope of the position.

EXPERIENCE



Minimum of 2 years management experience Sales Driven - Proven record in increasing sales

Pay: 29,000.00-34,000.00 per year
