Job summary.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced general manager to oversee the operations of our pub, which includes food service, live music and sporting events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the business, managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities
Hire, train and manage a team of staff members, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
Develop and implement training strategies that will turn your staff into the next superstars of the company
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and drive customer traffic, including social media campaigns, special events and promotions
Monitor and analyse sales data and financial reports to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
Coordinate with kitchen team to develop and execute a menu that meets customer preferences and enhances profitability
Maintain inventory levels, oversee ordering and receiving processes to ensure adequate supply while minimising waste and spoilage
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in a similar fast paced, high volume venue within the hospitality industry
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team and build strong relationships with customers and staff alike.
Experience in food service and knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus
A passion for live music, sports and creating an engaging atmosphere for customers is highly desired
Proven track record of achieving financial targets and increasing revenue
Experience in business development, including creating and implementing effective marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
