We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service and high-quality food production. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and optimising kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment through effective team management and supervision. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to culinary standards and food safety regulations. Coordinate kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment. Develop and implement training programmes for staff in areas such as food preparation, bartending, and customer service. Monitor restaurant performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas. Engage with customers to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction with their dining experience. Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items that reflect current trends in the restaurant industry.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality sector is essential. Strong background in food production, culinary arts, or kitchen management is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food preparation. Experience in supervising staff and managing team dynamics effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Knowledge of bartending practices is an advantage but not mandatory.
