Job Description

We are an exciting and vibrant Korean restaurant offering an contemporary dining experience with tabletop grilling, premium meats, and modern Korean cuisine. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including front of house (FOH), back of house (BOH), and kitchen coordination Lead, train, and motivate staff to ensure high levels of customer service and team performance Manage scheduling, payroll, hiring, and performance reviews Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and licensing laws Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure menu consistency, food quality, and inventory management Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally and promptly Monitor financial performance, including sales targets, cost control, and budgeting Coordinate marketing initiatives and community engagement to drive business growth Maintain high standards of cleanliness, ambiance, and overall customer experience

Requirements:

Proven experience as a General Manager or senior managerial role in a busy restaurant (Korean/Asian cuisine preferred) Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and licensing laws in the UK A customer-first mindset with the ability to resolve issues effectively Familiarity with POS systems, stock control, and financial reporting Passionate about Korean cuisine and culture is a big plus Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
