We are seeking a

Store Manager

to take full ownership of site performance, leading day-to-day operations, financial delivery, guest experience, and team development.
This is a pivotal leadership role for a hands-on operator who combines commercial acumen, operational excellence, and an unwavering passion for people and service.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management

Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary cafe team (FOH, baristas, and kitchen). Build a culture of performance, accountability, and pride in hospitality. Conduct regular team briefings, appraisals, and coaching sessions. Oversee scheduling and rota planning to ensure optimal coverage and labour efficiency.

Operational & Financial Management

Take full ownership of the site's P&L, including revenue, cost of sales, labour, and overheads. Achieve sales targets while maintaining strong margin control. Manage procurement, stock, and supplier relationships, ensuring seamless daily operations. Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvement without compromising quality.

Guest Experience

Uphold Qima Cafe's service rituals and hospitality standards. Ensure every guest interaction reflects the warmth, precision, and attention to detail of the brand. Collaborate with the Customer Experience Specialist to implement service improvements and feedback loops. Take immediate ownership of guest feedback and drive continuous enhancement of the customer journey.

Quality & Compliance

Maintain Qima Cafe's high standards of presentation, hygiene, and operational excellence. Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and audit requirements. Guarantee consistency in coffee, food, and service execution.

People Development

Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members. Identify and develop high-potential talent within the cafe. Work closely with HR on performance management, documentation, and resolution of disciplinary matters.

Requirements

Proven experience (4-5+ years) in a leadership role within premium cafe, restaurant, or hospitality environments. Demonstrated ability to manage full-site P&L and drive commercial success. Strong leadership and communication skills with a people-first mindset. Deep understanding of guest journey design, brand standards, and high-end service delivery. Flexible, organised, and adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving environment. Weekend and evening availability required.

What We Offer

Base salary:

38,000-42,000 per annum

On-target earnings (OTE):
