Located within the iconic Liberty London store, Seventy Five at Liberty is a Two Rosette modern British restaurant with a focus on seasonal, locally sourced food and warm, thoughtful service. Set in the heart of one of London's most famous department stores, the restaurant offers a stylish and welcoming setting for guests to enjoy a memorable dining experience.

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the team at Seventy Five at Liberty and play a central role in the next stage of this unique and ambitious project. We have significant plans for the future, and this position will be a focal point in driving the restaurant forward.

Role Overview


The General Manager will oversee the day to day running of Seventy Five at Liberty, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest service and strong financial performance. Working closely with the Founder and Head Chef, you will lead all aspects of the operation, inspiring your team and upholding the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities


Front of House Operations: Oversee all activity, ensuring seamless and professional service
Guest Experience: Deliver an outstanding experience for every guest, upholding company standards consistently
Team Leadership: Manage, train and motivate the team, fostering a culture of excellence
Strategic Contribution: Work with the senior team on planning, development and long term growth
Financial Management: Monitor budgets, review financial reports and optimise profitability
Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of menus, drinks and the Liberty ethos, ensuring the team communicate this confidently
Stock and Cost Control: Manage inventory effectively and maintain positive supplier relationships
Compliance: Ensure full adherence to food safety, health and hygiene requirements

Ideal Candidate


Previous experience as a General Manager, ideally within a Michelin accredited restaurant or a high profile opening
A confident and engaging leader with the ability to inspire, support and develop a team
Genuinely guest focused, with a passion for delivering memorable experiences
Strong financial understanding, including budgets, cost control and KPIs
Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable in a fast paced environment
A passion for modern British cuisine, exceptional service and working within one of London's most iconic retail destinations
