Position Overview

The General Manager (GM) is the driving force behind day-to-day operations and the culture of the store. As GM, you are responsible for leading a passionate team, maintaining operational excellence, delivering an exceptional guest experience, and achieving financial targets. You model PLANT SHACK values through hands-on leadership and ensure every shift is smooth, efficient, and uplifting--for both team members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

Hire, train, and lead a high-performing, service-minded team. Coach team members to reach their potential. Cultivate a warm, inclusive, and dynamic workplace culture.

Operations Management

Oversee daily operations of the coffeeshop, juice bar, and grab-and-go areas. Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards. Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relations, and staff scheduling.

Customer Experience

Ensure all customers receive warm, friendly, and efficient service. Lead from the front--engaging with guests and resolving issues in real time. Champion customer satisfaction and retention initiatives.

Financial & Business Performance

Drive revenue, optimize costs, and manage labor. Analyze reports to track performance and implement improvement plans. Coordinate local marketing and community engagement opportunities.

Brand Stewardship

Uphold PLANT SHACK's experiential brand standards. Maintain the ambiance and energy of the space. Serve as a brand ambassador in-store and in the local community.

Qualifications & Skills

3-5+ years of experience in a management or supervisory role in coffee, juice bar, hospitality, or retail food environments. Proven experience in high-traffic, fast-paced operations. Strong people management and team-building skills. Solid understanding of cost control, inventory, and business reporting. Customer-focused with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Passion for plant-based wellness, sustainability, and community.

Pay: 30,000.00-33,500.00 per year
