Duties
Lead and supervise all restaurant or hotel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to meet quality standards
Manage team members, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Coordinate with kitchen staff to optimise food service efficiency and uphold culinary excellence
Monitor inventory levels and oversee procurement of supplies to minimise waste and control costs
Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
Implement policies that promote a positive work environment and uphold organisational values
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies that increase patronage
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead diverse staff groups effectively
Previous experience in restaurant or culinary management roles is highly desirable
Familiarity with hospitality operations including serving, barista duties, and general kitchen experience
Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational and communication skills
