Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our business. The role will be based at our head office in Lymm and on site at Manchester Airport.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering processes and standards, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service.

This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, delivering operational standards and being able to support the team in moving vehicles whenever necessary.

We trade 7 days a week and therefore weekend cover is essential, along with flexibility around start and finish times. Hours are 45 hours per week, 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays.

Responsibilities



Lead and manage all aspects of our on-site parking and shuttle services, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction. Direct communication with hotel partners, building strong relationships. To put measures in place and have foresight to plan for the future. Develop Sales and Marketing strategies for continued growth. Ensure all operations run smoothly when not on site. Supervise and train staff to maintain high service standards including uniform, punctuality and professional driving at all times. Develop and execute operational strategies to improve efficiencies and service across the business. Handle customer enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, striving for resolution that enhances customer experience. To ensure adherence to all Health & Safety policies and procedures, as per our guidelines. Cover 'On Call' for Early Returns/Emergency cover etc for both parking and shuttles. RAM tracking analysis and shuttle vehicle inspections on a weekly basis Insurance policy reviews and renewals Liaising with our IT support company to ensure prompt resolution of any issues and system development requirements Weekly rota's for all site staff

Requirements



Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality/tourism/travel sector preferred. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively and work alongside the existing team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. PCV licence and CPC card an advantage
