With our new Ancoats store only opening 2 months ago, we are looking for a confident, reliable, high-performing General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and drive the brand forward.
This is a hands-on management role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and knows how to run a tight, efficient, high-standard operation.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant or hospitality operations to ensure smooth functioning and high standards of service, working closely with our Kitchen Manager.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality and consistency in line with brand standards.
Confident using and maintaining social media to help grow our brand!
Supervise and motivate staff, including FOH staff, chefs and other team members, fostering a positive work environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas.
Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to optimise profitability.
Develop staff schedules, oversee training programmes, and support professional development initiatives.
Handle customer feedback, resolve issues promptly, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and maintain supply chain efficiency.
Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers while retaining existing clientele.
Qualifications
Proven experience as General Manager in QSR and/or fast paced environments with strong leadership skills.
Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
Experience in team management, staff training, and customer service excellence.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on team collaboration and customer relations.
