Duties
Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, hotel, or hospitality venue to ensure smooth functioning and high standards of service.
Lead, supervise, and motivate staff across various departments including food preparation, serving, and kitchen teams.
Manage staff scheduling, recruitment, training programmes, and performance appraisals to foster a motivated and efficient team.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the premises.
Monitor food production processes, ensuring quality control in culinary offerings including cooking and food presentation.
Develop and implement operational policies to optimise efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to uphold the organisation's reputation for excellent service.
Coordinate with suppliers for procurement of ingredients and supplies necessary for food preparation and service.
Maintain financial oversight including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management (note: specific financial responsibilities may vary).

Requirements
Proven experience in supervising teams within a restaurant or hotel environment; prior leadership roles are essential.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.

Familiarity with hospitality industry standards such as hotel or barista experience is advantageous.
