Tedsmore Cottages, Shropshire, are currently looking to recruit an experienced General Manager who can take responsibility for managing a complex of 13 to 14 holiday let cottages, accommodating up to 108 guests. Not only must the new manager be able to manage the day-to-day responsibilities, they must also have the experience using multiple avenues to bring in new business and raise the awareness of this new complex.

This new post is for a live-on-site General Manager who will be accommodated in a 3-bedroom cottage. For those not wishing to live onsite, the role stipulates that they must reside within 5 miles of the complex and be available for out-of-office calls and on-site attendance during evenings and weekends.

This is a hands-on role, and the successful applicant must be willing to fill the gaps and be available to resolve incoming issues when other staff are not available. As a growing business, this opportunity may progress to offering full, or part-time work for partners of the GM if this is something of interest.

Salary for this role is 30k if living onsite, and 40K if living within a 5 mile radius. In addition to this, the successful applicant can anticipate a performance bonus based on revenue increase and social media uptake.

Main Purpose of Job

Accountable for the overall operational and financial performance of Tedsmore Holiday Cottages (Complex). Leading and managing a new and developing team who are aligned with and able to deliver the Robert Parker Hotel Collection and the individual Complex strategic plan. To promote the image and company mission statement of The Robert Parker Collection at all times, by ensuring high standards of both professionalism and personal presentation.
