As we prepare for launch, we're looking for a General Manager ready to help shape every aspect of the operation--from vision to execution.

The Role

This is a rare opportunity for someone looking to make their mark. As our

General Manager

, you won't just run a restaurant--you'll help build it. You'll lead front-of-house operations, shape the guest journey, hire and train the team, and work closely with the Head Chef and founders to bring our vision to life.

Whether you're an experienced GM or an Assistant GM ready to step up, you'll be trusted to take ownership and grow with the business.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Opening Leadership

- Support with venue set-up, recruitment, supplier negotiations and operational planning

Team Building & Management

- Hire, train and lead the front-of-house team; foster a positive, high-performing culture

Guest Experience

- Champion exceptional service and lead from the front with warmth, style and professionalism

Operational Oversight

- Manage daily operations including rotas, bookings, supplier coordination and compliance

Commercial Acumen

- Monitor budgets, revenue and costs; use data and insight to improve profitability

Brand & Community

- Help establish the Yeatei brand locally; support marketing activity and community partnerships

About You

Experience as a General Manager or Assistant GM in a quality restaurant Strong grasp of front-of-house operations, with an understanding of kitchen processes A passion for great hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences Entrepreneurial spirit and eagerness to be part of something from the ground up Hands-on, adaptable and proactive with a clear communication style Knowledge of Asian cuisine and fusion dining is a bonus, but not essential

Start Date

The start-up phase will be part-time and compensated on a partial basis until the restaurant officially opens. A clear plan for development and long-term reward will be agreed from the outset.

Job Type:

Permanent

Salary:

29,000-34,000 per year (base salary, depending on experience) plus tronc and tips, as bonus and option to be part of the share of the company

Experience:
