General Manager

to join our team on a full time basis and help lead the operation of our Wine Tourism business.

The Role:

As General Manager, you will work closely with the owners to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our premium Wine Tourism business. This includes the management of our key venues: The Tasting Room, The Flint Barns, The Hut, and The Cellar Door, as well as the services and experiences we offer our guests. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding experiences while ensuring operational excellence across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of all wine tourism venues and guest experiences at Rathfinny Wine Estate

Team Leadership:

Lead, inspire, and manage a team of managers and staff to deliver exceptional service and create a welcoming, engaging environment for our guests

Event Coordination:

Plan, manage, and execute a variety of events and functions hosted at the Estate, including weddings and corporate events, working closely with external suppliers and partners.

Guest Experience Excellence:

Ensure that every guest interaction is of the highest standard, and consistently look for ways to enhance and innovate the visitor experience

Financial Oversight:

Support the development and management of budgets, ensuring operational efficiency and profitability

Collaboration:

Work with the owners and senior leadership team to align the Wine Tourism operations with the broader vision of Rathfinny Wine Estate

Strategic Thinking:

Contribute to the overall business strategy and vision, bringing fresh ideas and forward-thinking solutions to ensure continued growth and success
