We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff training, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Duties
Manage daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency and quality.
Utilize POS systems for efficient cash handling and order processing.
Conduct inventory control to manage stock levels effectively and minimize waste.
Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance team performance and ensure adherence to company policies.
Implement training programs for new hires, focusing on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
Develop budgets and manage financial performance to achieve business goals.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all areas of food service management.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism to enhance guest satisfaction.
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations.
Experience in quick service & fast food restaurants as well as casual dining establishments is preferred.
Background in fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
Demonstrated ability in team management, leadership, and staff training & development.
Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management within a hospitality setting.
Previous experience in kitchen management or supervising kitchen staff is essential.
