As a General Manager you will be responsible for the full spectrum of the operation at the venue. You will be vital in leadership, inspiring and the development your team members alongside driving the business's commercial success. We are looking for someone who is driven and has a real passion for people, food and hospitality!

What will your responsibilities be? (but not limited to)
Responsible and accountable in all areas of successfully running the site.
Organising and overseeing all front of house staff, delegating and sharing tasks
Undertake any role/responsibility front of house when needed.
Ensure exceptional service standards are consistently maintained.
Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
Train and develop the front of house team, to encourage a succession plan for the front of house department, as and when you progress within the company
Encourage the team development of wider front of house team, driven by the Assistant General Manager
Lead on talent planning in all areas of the front of house team
Ensure a good working relationship with front and back of house team members
Manage staff and corrective actions as necessary with support from the head office HR team
Managing team rotas, holidays and absences
Recruitment of front of house team, maintaining a reasonable level of staff to run the site effectively
Responsible and accountable for Health and Safety, following all company compliance and policy
Deliver KPI's to company targets
Ensure compliance with internal company policies and industry regulations.
Collaborate with others to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Reports to the Area Manager.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a General Manager, or in a similar high-level role within the hospitality or restaurant industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with events
Passion for hospitality
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during weekends and busy events.
Excellent knowledge of restaurant hygiene regulations.
Weekend availability is essential - this role will involve working most weekends going forward.
A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to upholding our high culinary standards.
