We are recruiting an experienced General Manager to lead Popzone Gorgeous in Redditch. This is a busy late night venue with a strong events calendar and high weekend footfall.

This is a hands on senior role, suited to someone who thrives in high energy environments and has proven experience managing licensed premises, late night trading, and large teams.

The Role

As General Manager, you will be fully responsible for the day to day operation of the venue, ensuring it is run safely, profitably, and to a high standard at all times.

Key responsibilities include

Full operational management of the venue Leading, training, and motivating management and staff teams Delivering excellent customer experience and strong trading results Compliance with licensing objectives, health and safety, and company policies Managing rotas, payroll, stock control, and GP margins Working closely with security teams, Pubwatch, and local authorities Planning and delivering events, promotions, and themed nights Handling incidents professionally and confidently during late night trading
The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience as a General Manager or senior manager within a nightclub, late night bar, or high volume hospitality venue Strong knowledge of UK licensing law and compliance Must hold a valid BIIAB Personal Licence A full UK driving licence would be advantageous Confident leader with excellent people management skills Commercially minded with experience controlling costs and driving sales Calm under pressure and comfortable working late nights and weekends Organised, reliable, and able to lead by example
