Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all restaurant and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations.
Ensure excellent customer service by supervising serving staff and addressing guest concerns promptly.
Implement training programmes to develop team skills in hospitality, culinary techniques, and food safety practices.
Coordinate with suppliers for procurement of ingredients and supplies, maintaining optimal stock levels.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and sales targets to maximise profitability.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene throughout the premises in accordance with health regulations.
Develop marketing strategies to attract new customers whilst retaining existing clientele.
Skills
Proven experience in supervising teams within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage diverse teams effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple operational aspects simultaneously.
Experience in managing food service operations such as hotel restaurants or bars is highly desirable.
