Role Description



This is a full-time role for a General Manager based in south yorkshire, The General Manager will oversee daily hotel operations, ensure service quality, and meet financial objectives. Responsibilities include developing and leading the team, managing budgets, overseeing guest satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards. The ideal candidate will represent the values of FNH HOTELS LIMITED while driving growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications



Leadership skills including team management, staff development, and performance optimisation Operational expertise in managing budgets, revenue forecasting, and regulatory compliance Proficiency in customer service, guest relations, and fostering customer satisfaction Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic planning capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff and guests effectively Experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable Proficiency with hotel or hospitality management software is an advantage Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred

Responsibilities



Oversee all aspects of restaurants, hotel operations, Gym and Spa, including food preparation, service, and customer relations Lead and supervise staff across various departments such as kitchen, serving, barista services, and hospitality teams Manage team scheduling, training programmes, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of service delivery Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain strict hygiene standards within the establishment Coordinate food production processes to deliver quality dishes efficiently while managing costs effectively Implement and uphold health and safety policies across all areas of operation Develop strategies to enhance customer experience, increase sales, and optimise operational efficiency Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly to maintain positive reputation Collaborate with suppliers for procurement of ingredients and supplies necessary for daily operations Monitor financial performance including budgeting, inventory control, and cost management

Requirements



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment Gym and Spa Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment Previous leadership roles in culinary settings or hotel management preferred Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations Experience in serving customers in a hospitality setting; barista or bar service experience is advantageous Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Demonstrated commitment to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
