We're looking for an exceptional

General Manager

to launch and lead

Bill's Bar, Salisbury

-- a brand-new, high-energy venue inspired by the hugely successful Bill's Bar in Oakham.

This is a

hands-on leadership role

for someone who thrives in late-night hospitality, understands modern bar culture, and knows how to build a venue into a destination.

About Bill's Bar

Bill's Bar is a social-led, late-night bar concept combining:

Sky Sports & live sporting events Interactive gaming (darts, shuffleboards and more) Boozy brunches and strong daytime trade DJs, atmosphere and late-night energy
With a

200-capacity venue

, this role requires confident operational control, strong people leadership and real commercial instinct.

The Role

As General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the performance, culture and success of the venue, including:

Full P&L ownership and commercial performance Recruiting, training and leading a large FOH & bar team Creating an energetic, well-run late-night operation Driving sales across

boozy brunches, sport, gaming and events

Delivering excellent customer experience at all times Managing rotas, stock, margins and compliance Working closely with ownership on growth and strategy
You'll be expected to be

visible on the floor

, particularly during peak late-night and event-led trading.

What We're Looking For

Proven General Manager experience in

high-volume bars or late-night venues

Strong understanding of

sports-led, brunch and entertainment-driven trade

Experience running venues of

150-200+ capacity

Confident leader who builds loyal, motivated teams Commercially sharp with strong cost and margin control Comfortable with late nights, weekends and events

Social media savvy

-- understands how venues drive footfall online Calm under pressure and decisive in busy service
